A street down memory lane to your childhood

D’street flea was too much fun. Had a lot of fun mingling with amazing crowd and interesting stall owners.  The stalls lined up by them were very truly amazing. Like a true Gujarati, I had to rush to the food counter as soon as I entered Montecristo Banquet as I was feeling really hot and thirsty. After sipping ice tea with lemon and mint from Vrunda Shah’s stall, I was all set to explore the flea.

There was a display of sunglasses, the collection was truly impeccable. I love funky designs and have fun to try some, bought one with leopard frame.

Brand you had two stalls – one with tees and mugs and other with art pieces.

Laxmi Apparels by Sheetal is a great brand for buying kurtis, palazzos and leggings.

Baasta Studio had a nice display of ‘traditional batwa’ and bags.

Your Home salon had an attractive stall, offering nail art for INR 100/- per hand. Need I say, it was overcrowded with pretty women?

These kids from Dharmesh Shah Dance Academy presented a wonderful dance performance.

Zorba was no doubt my favourite stall; they had a display of awesome paintings.

Kalakruti showcased some interesting art pieces.

Yummy tummy by Monica and Prachi had all foodie delights, from South Indian to snacks and some amazing fruit infused coolers.

Shilpagyaa was this chic interior décor store.

If you love Chaniya cholis and ethic wear, Angarakha is the stall to go to. I particularly loved the detailed and colourful ghaghras.

M.B. Selection by Pummy Mistri had exquisite handmade Crochet Work items. These beautiful sandals stole my heart.

Chhaya’s Creation was a charming store with curated apparels – their corsets were just lovely. The whole family was present at the stall. We have a new saying I guess – ‘A family which sells together, stays together.’

Don’t miss out the D’street! Today is the last day. Come to Montecristo Banquet, Nr. Crescent Lawn, End of Sindhu Bhawan Road, S.P Ring Road Cross Road - from 3rd to 5th June, 4 PM to 11 PM.

  1. You should have done an interview with us at Brand You about how what we are doing is different from many others. For a little insight - Brand You is a software company that is doing it's first ever collection at D'Street into hand made art and designs - the first ever for any IT software company in Gujarat. The collection was designed and hand made by technology programmers and developers from our very own office. No work was outsourced to anyone which is a first time ever for pretty much any flea market in Gujarat till date. Feel free to drop by again and meet us. I am sure our story would wow you for sure! Either way, thanks for an interesting post!
